$1 million penalty for stocking synthetic drugs

South Australia has followed the lead of New South Wales by placing an interim ban on 18 potentially harmful synthetic drugs.
 
The 60-day interim ban comes into immediate effect and retailers who fail to comply face fines of up to $1.1million.
