Each year, Australians come together to celebrate NAIDOC Week and to honour the history, cultures, contribution and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
In 2025, NAIDOC Week will be celebrated from 6 to 13 July with the theme The Next Generation: Strength, Vision and Legacy. This year marks a milestone of 50 years of honouring and elevating Indigenous voices, culture, and resilience. The theme celebrates not only the achievements of the past, but the bright future ahead, empowered by the strength of our young leaders, the vision of our communities, and the legacy of our ancestors.
Government agencies, organisations and communities across South Australia will host events and participate in activities to celebrate NAIDOC Week.
The commitment and tireless work of the state, regional and local NAIDOC committees, organisations and individuals is essential to the success of NAIDOC Week.
