The Attorney-General's Department has been advised that a small amount of low-risk data involving users of the Operator Assisted Paging Service was impacted by the recent cyber-attack on OracleCMS.

OracleCMS is contracted by Motorola Solutions Australia, the operator of the South Australian Government Radio Network (SAGRN), to provide the Operator Assisted Paging Service.

The incident was external to the Government Radio Network and has not affected the integrity of the SAGRN or other SA Government systems.

Analysis has indicated no sensitive operational, personal or financial information was disclosed, and the information does not pose a direct threat to individuals affected.

The materials involved the first and last names, messaging service ID and answering message of 450 users - roughly two per cent of the total GRN user base.

All affected staff are being notified and supports offered through IDCARE.

AGD is working with Motorola and OracleCMS to ensure they take all necessary steps to better protect their data and is closely monitoring the situation to determine whether further action is needed.
