The Attorney-General's Department regularly seeks feedback on various justice policies or initiatives.
When conducting public consultation, the department usually prepares a discussion paper which outlines the issues and proposed strategies for solutions. Sometimes we consult on draft legislation as well.
While some of our consultations are targeted to particular groups, often we seek the views of the broader community. These public consultations are often held on YourSAy.
